THE AWESOME PET DOG Six weekly 50-minute classes $150*

Do you have a pet dog that’s waiting to bloom into an Awesome Pet Dog? Join us in this class to partner with your dog to train the behaviors of sit, down, stay, go to mat, come, target, wait at doors, and loose leash walking management. Ways to exercise your dog’s body and mind, how to use time outs effectively, and name recognition will also be discussed. Students must bring motivating training treats to class each week.
TRICKS ARE FOR DOGS Six weekly 50-minute classes $150*

Exercising a dog’s mind is essential to his health, and training tricks is one way to accomplish this. Imagine showing off your dog’s new trained talents to family and friends. Tricks taught vary depending on class participants, but may include bow, spin, crawl, ring bell, say prayers, hoop or bar jump, and leg weaves. Students must bring motivating training treats to class each week.

ROCKET RECALLS Four weekly 50-minute classes $100*

Do you have a dog who ignores you when you call him? This class will rely on games and recall drills that will train dogs to come when called. Students must also purchase and bring a 30-foot long-line and bring motivating training treats to class each week.
JUMPERS ANONYMOUS Four weekly 50-minute classes $100*

Dogs jump on people to greet them. Unfortunately, the bigger the dog, the less impressed people are with this natural behavior to be friendly. Jumpers Anonymous is an impulse control course that teaches manners and patience through drills with emphasis on training dogs to keep four on the floor when greeting people. Students must bring motivating training treats to class each week.
LOOSE LEASH WALKING Four weekly 50-minute classes $100*

If you have a dog who pulls you down the street when you go on walks, then you’re probably frustrated and bewildered about what to do. We all want to enjoy walks with our furry family members, and with some effort and practice, loose leash walking is doable. Come to the Loose Leash Walking class to learn how. Students must bring motivating training treats to class each week.
*An additional $10 will be added to the class fee for those students who are not residents of the Town of Davie.
NOTES FOR ALL CLASSES: All classes taught by Helen Verte Schwarzmann, CPDT-KA, CTDI. Please email LoveWagsATail@gmail.com or call 954-684-5288 to register prior to the first class. Pre-registration is required. Dogs must be at least 4 months old and current on DHPP (Distemper and Parvo) and Rabies vaccines. Vaccination records must be brought to the first class. Dogs must have been in owner’s home for at least seven days and must be friendly towards dogs and people. The Trainer, at her discretion, may remove a dog from class if a hazard or threat of any nature to any other animal or person. Trainer may take photos and/or videos during classes for marketing purposes. Enrollment is limited to six students per class. Dogs should wear buckle, martingale, or quick release collars only. No prong or choke collars, please. Training is through positive reinforcement.
