If you live your life with dogs, you will no doubt have to say good-bye to your beloved fur kid/s along the way. The sad fact is that they live accelerated lives compared to ours. But they still go through the stages of infancy, juvenile, adult, and senior. In all of those stages, your dog needs to be cared for and loved.
As much as we laugh at the puppy antics our dogs go through, we need to embrace and coddle our feeble senior dogs. And when the time comes to say good-bye, thereafter, listen, look for, accept what may be the very sign your dog is sending you that s/he is all right and waiting to reunite.
We’re all sensitive enough to experience the reaching out. But we’re not all willing to do so. Let your guard down.
