I was feeling guilty that I let my dog watch-dog bark at the mail carrier’s daily deliveries. But frankly, I’d come home before when I had a shield on the inner door over the mail slot and found that it had been crashed through and the ex-pen I’d once kept around it had been slammed into the door. This suggested someone, who was not a mailman, had tried to force his way in. Thank goodness for my watch doggies, though. I’m sure they deterred that would-be theif.
So coming across and watching this video today, I’m just wondering how much of an impact a watch cat like this would have on a would-be intruder. Except the problem here is the cat can be seen, so he loses some of the surprise value. But hey, cat’s claws can be mighty weapons. Just watch what this mailman goes through with this unusual watch dog. Amusingly effective strategy on the cat’s side. I just wonder if he waits the day out for this moment. Is he a contentious kitty? Does he thrive on his daily battle with the mailman? Who knows? But he certainly seems to enjoy the battle. So does this good-humored mail carrier.
